What the visual SEO audit tool checks
Use CHCZ Design Checker to inspect the page state you have opened. Its report separates errors, warnings, manual-review items, and passed checks. A finding records observable implementation evidence; it does not establish search performance or accessibility conformance.
- Metadata and headings: document title, meta description, missing or multiple H1s, empty headings, and skipped heading levels.
- Images and links: missing versus intentionally empty alt text, oversized images, empty or placeholder destinations, and missing same-page fragment targets.
- Visual implementation: likely viewport overflow and contrast evidence, with uncertain cases left for manual review.

Open, inspect, fix, and rescan
- Open a regular HTTP or HTTPS page in Chrome. Navigate to the page state you want to inspect.
- Click the CHCZ Design Checker toolbar action. Review the grouped findings and navigate to the affected element where supported.
- Verify the finding in context before changing the page. Check whether empty alt text is intentional and whether horizontal scrolling is part of the design.
- Make the correction, reload the page, and rescan. Open other relevant states and repeat the review rather than treating one snapshot as complete coverage.
Inspection boundaries
The extension reviews the current top-level document. It does not crawl linked URLs, check their HTTP status, simulate Googlebot, inspect cross-origin frames or closed Shadow DOM, or prove indexing, rankings, traffic, or AI citations. Content introduced after a scan may need another scan. Text inside raster images may require manual review.
Page inspection runs locally after a click. The inspected content is not uploaded. Public AI and search checks make uncredentialed requests to the selected URL and the same site’s public response headers, robots.txt, Sitemap, and optional llms.txt. These requests are distinct from uploading the inspected page.

A scan covers the current document and its current state. Open an accordion, tab, or other interaction state yourself, then rescan when content changes. The report does not establish complete coverage of a dynamic website or a particular JavaScript framework.
Does a passed report prove SEO or accessibility compliance?
A passed check records implementation evidence under the tested conditions. Indexing and search performance require separate measurements. Accessibility conformance requires broader evaluation, including interaction states and human review. Use the report to identify work and verify corrections.
